Acupuncturists use various treatment methods to restore and maintain health such as herbs, cupping, acupressure/tuina and more.
Acupuncturists can help with a variety of different conditions including, sports injuries, smoking cessation, depression, allergies and more.
Acupuncture points are believed to stimulate the central nervous system. This, in turn, releases chemicals into the muscles, spinal cord, and brain. These biochemical changes may stimulate the body's natural healing abilities and promote physical and emotional well-being.
Sports Medicine Doctor:
Sports medicine doctors specialize in the prevention, diagnostics and treatment of various injuries that are associated with athletics and other forms of exercise.
They consult with patients about their recovery progress and are able to prescribe medication when necessary
